Believe and Receive
· I am what the word says I am.
· I believe what the word says I am.
· I can do what the word says I can do.
· I will believe it in my mind.
· I will receive it in my heart.
· I will speak it with my mouth.
Believe means to regard as true, to trust, to have faith in.
Receive means to take, to accept, to get, to acquire, to welcome, or to hold.
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Exodus 3:14
The Bible says in John 15: 1, 5 (Good News Bible Today’s English Version)
I am the real vine, and my Father is the gardener. I am the vine, and you are the branches, whoever remains in me, and I in him, will bear much fruit for you can do nothing without me.
Bishop Aron Hopkins
First Lady Geneva Hopkins
First Lady Geneva Hopkins works tirelessly serving the youth in the community surrounding our church. Her effort to win young souls to Christ is evidenced by the numerous children whose souls have been saved under her ministry. She reaches the youth and teaches them biblical truths that they can relate to in their every day lives and family situations. By teaching them the word of God, she is equipping these young people to see beyond their situations and realize their full potential in Christ.
In addition to ministering to the youth from a spiritual standpoint, First Lady Hopkins also reaches the youth by teaching them how to garden. She has a garden right here at church where she teaches them how to grow their own vegetables. She encourages them to learn how to sustain themselves off the bounty of the land. She is indeed preparing them to reap what they sow from a spiritual and natural perspective.
First Lady's Theme Scripture is 3 John 2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
